Account Deletion Request

You can request permanent deletion of your ShopCentral account and associated personal data at any time. We process deletion requests in line with our legal and regulatory retention obligations.

How to delete your account

For your security, account deletion is performed from inside the ShopCentral app. Open the app and go to Account → Delete my account. You will be asked to re-enter your password to confirm before the deletion is processed. Once confirmed, your account is permanently deleted and you are signed out.

Steps

  1. Open the ShopCentral app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Tap Delete my account.
  4. Re-enter your password and confirm.

If you cannot access your account, you can request deletion by emailing support@bigmerchant.co from the email address associated with your account. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

What will be deleted

  • Your profile details (name, email, phone number, and account preferences).
  • Saved delivery addresses and notification settings.
  • Your push-notification token and active sessions.
  • Access to your account across all devices.

What may be retained

Some records may be retained for a limited period where required by law, for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or tax and accounting obligations:

  • Order and payment records required for financial and tax reporting.
  • Records needed to resolve an open dispute, refund, or support case.
  • Minimal audit logs used to secure the platform and prevent abuse.

Retained records are kept only as long as necessary and are then permanently deleted or anonymised.

Before you delete

Make sure any in-progress orders are completed or resolved before deleting your account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone — your order history and saved details will no longer be available to you.

Processing timeline

Deletion from the app takes effect immediately. Where a request is made by email, we target completion of verified requests within 30 days. If more time is needed due to legal requirements or account review, we will let you know.
